2022 was a ground-breaking year for Alpine Lodges. It was the year in which we launched several luxury property projects in prestigious resorts across the French Alps. It’s also the year that we joined The Club 2023 in order to support the 2023 Alpine Ski World Championships. Our teams worked tirelessly to raise the standards of alpine property design and interior decoration before handing over the keys to our delighted new owners. Meanwhile, our partners at Alpine Resorts reported excellent occupancy rates and increased revenues for our owners who’ve chosen to rent their properties via our exclusive management team. This final point proves once again that owning property in the mountains is an excellent investment.
But what will 2023 bring? That’s an excellent question. Limited availability now remains at our current alps-wide development locations, which we’ll review here.
- Steamboat, Courchevel
Situated at the heart of Courchevel Moriond, one of the most idyllic villages in the resort, Steamboat is a collection of high-end lodges which come complete with luxury hotel services. In July 2023 the village hosts a stage depart of the famous Tour de France, before once again welcoming the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in September. Of course such big events come with a lot of global attention and a significant volume of investment in local facilities and amenities. Our forthcoming Kangto development sits at the heart of the action, close to the pistes and the ski lifts of the village.
